Anonymization Settings

Configure what gets hidden when anonymization is enabled on a document.

When you enable anonymization during generation, talentkiwi hides the candidate's identifying information. You can configure exactly what gets anonymized.

What is anonymized by default

  • Full name (replaced with a placeholder or initials)
  • Profile photo
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Home address
  • Links to personal profiles (LinkedIn, Xing, etc.)

Anonymization in attached documents

When downloading as PDF, anonymization also applies to the attached supporting documents — the candidate's name and photo are removed from uploaded CVs, references, and other attachments.

Configuring anonymization rules

Go to Settings → Anonymization to adjust which fields are hidden when anonymization is enabled.

You can:

  • Enable or disable specific fields
  • Choose whether to replace names with initials, a placeholder (e.g. "Candidate A"), or leave them blank

Per-document control

Anonymization is toggled per generation — you choose at generation time whether a specific dossier should be anonymized. The settings here define the default behavior.
